Project Windfall is a narrative-driven single-player experience set in the mystical realm of Altheris. The game features an expansive open-world, RPG mechanics, a third-person action combat system, and stylized anime visuals in a medieval fantasy setting. Complete quests, solve puzzles, master challenging trials, and collect useful items to help you along your journey.

World

The realm of Altheris consists of seven regions - the imperial capital city 'Everlight' and its six neighbouring provinces. Each region features unique environments, both in terms of flora and fauna, as well as its natural resources. Traverse the lush highlands of Windfall, explore the snowy tundra of Winterdawn, and survive the fiery lava streams and volcanoes of Emberbloom. Immerse yourself and discover everything Altheris has to offer.

Story

Ever since the 'Great War', a lot of things had changed in the once peaceful provinces. Former allies became bitter enemies and the balance of the realm was shattered. The subsequent rise of the 'Servants of Darkness' ended the bloodshed among mankind, but sparked a conflict against the threat of the arcane itself. Experience a captivating tale of desire and betrayal, with unexpected twists and dark secrets. Prepare yourself and embark on an unforgettable adventure!

Lyare van windfall

Lyare is a charismatic and adventurous noblewoman defined by a strong sense of justice. She is the only daughter of Elyria and Aldwin of the esteemed House Windfall, and the main protagonist of the story.

After the emperor's call to arms, Lyare joined the conflict in her father's stead. She and her companions fought countless fierce battles alongside the imperial forces to repel the arcane invaders that threatened the realm.

When her party was ambushed one day, the sacrifice of her companions left Lyare as the sole survivor. Wounded and filled with guilt, she started her fateful journey back home - vowing to avenge her fallen friends and uncover whatever led the Servants of Darkness to Altheris.

Embark on an adventure

Fight

Use your arsenal to fight your way through open plains, dark caves, and to the tops of high mountains. Swords, bows, and even polearms - with the right equipment, no enemy will dare to stand in your way.

Gather

Collect items and resources of varying rarity and quality. Venture out into the region and mine for ore, harvest wood, loot enemies, or simply explore your surroundings. There's plenty to be found, and it's all yours to take.

Explore

Countless treasures are hidden throughout the landscape. Prepare yourself and step out into a beautiful and dangerous world - full of profitable opportunities, challenging encounters and exciting discoveries.

Craft

The harsh times on the battlefield have made Lyare a very skilled craftswoman. With the right materials, you can create and refine tools, weapons, and armor, as well as brew useful potions, and cook delicious meals.

Trade

Even though the conflict against the Servants of Darkness is still ongoing, trade remains a profitable endeavor. Use your hard-earned gold to stock up on supplies and equipment. You may even be able to turn a profit.

Quest

Complete challenging tasks for the three major guilds of Altheris and earn their sympathy. Get rewards for your efforts and increase your standing to access even more lucrative quests in the future.
